Welcome to Regional Out of School Care Operators

We are a non-profit society with members throughout the Greater Victoria BC area with a focus on school aged child care though our membership is diverse and includes all types of child care facilities and organizations.

ROSCO meets on the 2nd Tuesday morning of most months throughout the school year at local member centres.  Contact us for the exact dates and locations.

Mission

To connect childcare professionals with information, resources and support for quality childcare.

Goals

To promote a cohesive, well-informed and educated network of childcare professionals.

To communicate the existence of an accountable, responsible childcare profession to the government, the public and childcare sectors.

To advocate on behalf of children and families in order to ensure high quality, accessible childcare services in the Greater Victoria area.

To actively promote professionalism in the childcare field specifically, but not exclusively, by supporting and facilitating training and education.

To access professional services currently lacking or underdeveloped.  To target, provide and/or promote these services.
